Remembering Hodges

We said goodbye to Hodges Chip Manross in a beautiful memorial service this past Saturday. Highlights from the service were Dr. Carter's meaningful message of comfort and hope and a photograph of Hodges during his last week in the hospital, wearing his oxygen mask, looking in the camera and raising his tiny finger, which was his "light" while Ashley sang "This Little Light of Mine." I'll always think of him when I hear that song!

I thank God for his short little life and pray for their sweet family and they grieve, heal, and continue the journey of life. I am so proud of how intently they are looking to Jesus and His promises even in the midst of their sorrow.

Should anyone like to make a donation in his and his brother Jacobsen's memories, Rich and Ashley have requested that it be sent to:

Thanks to all my friends and family who have shown love and support to us during this difficult time. His life was not in vain and we will see him again.
